Galway Airport, was a regional airport located at Carnmore, east of Galway City, just 8 minutes here from us at the 4 star Oranmore Lodge Hotel and it has just been announced as the venue for a brand new music festival called ‘Summer Sessions’.

Galway Airport Summer Sessions

Galway Airport Summer Sessions will see 10 top music acts take to the stage in August 2024 at the long closed Galway Airport. A number of acts have been confirmed for the venue as well as capacity for each show. The Galway Summer sessions will see 10 shows take place with each having a capacity of 4,999 per event.

Please note, tickets are not included in our packages for any of the Gigs and must be purchased separately

August 2024 Acts

Fatboy Slim announced that his ‘Loves Summer’ tour will take place at Galway Summer Sessions on Friday 9th August. On Sunday August 11, Belters Only will take to the stage at and The Waterboys will perform on Monday August 19th. The Wolfe Tones will perform on Friday August 23rd followed by The Coronas on Saturday August 24th and The Pixies will play on Tuesday August 27th.
