The Irish rally season traditionally gets under way with the Corrib Oil sponsored Galway International Rally being the opening round of the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship scheduled to take place the February Bank Holiday Weekend here in Galway. This annual event promises to be a great event as always for both competitors and spectators.

It is expected that the Rally will take place over fifteen stages spread over two days on some of the best roads around Galway County with an abundance of great viewing spots along the way to follow the competitors. The Rally attracts entrants from all over Europe and beyond including Scotland, Wales, England Isle of Man, France, America, Gambia, Belgium, Arabia, Norway and much more.
