We found this place during a short trip up the West coast of Ireland recently. We were not expecting much, and we were not looking for much as the hotel seemed to be in an industrial estate! How wrong we were – it is an excellent, standalone secluded country house type building with large bedrooms and a bathroom with a bath!! Clean and well maintained with truly excellent, friendly staff – and a spa and pool which sadly we did not get to use. Adequate power points in the room and fast and free internet. It worked out around €90 per room per night – a bargain these days.

I would give this hotel 10 stars if I could! Superb service. Superb rooms. Very comfy beds. Receptionists go above & beyond sorting anything out for you & they do it with lovely warm smiles. The decoration throughout is exceptional. It is clean & tidy. The food is delicious & reasonably priced. Staff friendly but not intrusive, polite & professional. All immaculately dressed. There is a bar on site. A leisure area- pool & gym on site. Plenty of parking & it is well signposted from main roads.

Had a lovely 3 nights in The Oranmore Lodge Hotel. Spacious, spotless room coupled with professional warm service made this a memorable stay. All of the staff were courteous, friendly, helpful and professional. The food was excellent and the portions did not leave us wanting. It is unusual to see a full-service breakfast offering with hot food freshly cooked, added to the enjoyment. Would definitely recommend, and will definitely return

A proper hotel as far as I am concerned. The hotel was welcoming, clean, and the decor with solid furniture and fittings that some modern hotels with up to date furnishings do not look as good! My room was absolutely spotless and was five star as far as I am concerned. The breakfast was five star as well. Must mention the hotel staff who were very friendly and accommodating! I would go back there again!

I’d like to thank Oranmore Lodge Hotel, specifically Diego, Suzie, Pauline and the other staff for accommodating us and our stay. The hotel has various suited rooms, including ones suitable for disabled people. There is parking and wheelchair accessible entry and parking right by reception. Their food is top tier, with a bar and bistro onsite. While there, we saw the most beautiful wedding using their facilities. The staff’s warm and welcoming hospitality was a highlight of our stay. There is a leisure centre with a pool and gym available for use. Housekeeping made sure that we were always sorted with absolutely anything. The hotel is strategically situated walking distance to a SuperValu and Tesco, but also close to the motorway and road to The Burren and Cliffs of Moher.
Again, thank you all for welcoming us and taking care of us during our nearly 3 weeks stay

Worth the money, great leisure centre. Rooms very big, clean, and spacious. Lovely friendly staff and yummy Irish breakfast. Would recommend to all.15 min drive into the city and a 5 min walk into the local town with great bars and restaurants.

Lovely hotel, very clean. Staff couldn’t be nicer and more accommodating. I saw them doing special requests at breakfast eg: getting a cappuccino, boiled eggs or poached eggs for some guests. Rooms were clean and quiet at night. Food was excellent!! Leisure centre is nice. Was impressed they had a hair straighteners with the hairdryers. Also, in women’s changing room they had a play pin for babies. Thought it was a great idea to help mom’s getting changed. Highly recommend.

Stayed two nights while travelling. Absolutely lovely place to stay. Staff are first class, professional and very friendly. Room was extremely comfortable and clean. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were some of the best meals we’ve had on this trip. A very warm thank you to all staff, you made us feel so welcome. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Lovely stay at Oranmore Lodge Hotel. Food was excellent for our 3-night stay, even though the Hotel was very busy. What made our stay even more rememberable was our lovely bar waitress Michaela, who was extremely kind and attentive. We had not told her, but my husband had a very serious operation last year and it was his first proper break away since then, and she made it so special with her kindness and attention. She is to be treasured!

We travelled to the hotel as part of a group trip of multiple families of children with additional needs. The Hotel staff were friendly, kind, and adaptable. Each member of staff in the hotel and leisure centre was so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were comfortable and set up for families of different ages and stages. The food was delicious and catered to those with both discerning and more adventurous palettes. Our Thanks for a lovely stay.

Stayed down here for a night during race week. Nicely situated. They’ve got a leisure centre and a lovely bar inside with plenty on offer, Guinness and the zero, Coors, Carlsberg & plenty of gins and whiskeys. The room was spacious and spotless.
